Toronto | May 14, 2024 – Today, Cboe Canada Inc. (“Cboe Canada”) welcomes CI Global Asset Management (“CI GAM”) for the launch of Hedged Common Units of CI U.S. 500 Index ETF (“CUSA”). CUSA is now trading on Cboe Canada under the ticker CUSA.   

CI U.S. 500 Index ETF provides diversified, hedged exposure to the U.S. market by tracking the performance of the Solactive GBS United States 500 Hedged to CAD Index (“CA NTR”), an index designed to reflect the performance of the largest 500 companies from the U.S. stock market.  

“We are excited to expand our suite of Beta ETFs with CUSA on Cboe Canada, providing investors more choice and flexibility with currency-hedged exposure to the U.S. equity markets,” said Jennifer Sinopoli, Executive Vice-President and Head of Distribution at CI GAM. 

CUSA is now trading alongside five other CI Global Asset Management ETFs already listed on Cboe Canada. Investors can trade units of all CI GAM ETFs through their usual investment channels, including discount brokerage platforms and full-service dealers.
